I am confident and am able to pursue tasks in an enthusiastic manner, with determination to complete them to the best of my ability. I am adaptable, and am a self-starter who also enjoys working with others as part of a team. I have taken on the task, on many occasions, of translating from Gujarati to English, and Hindi to English and vice versa bridging barriers between those with language difficulties. During my time at Negus 6th Form College I have been a student ambassador, which required me to employ my social skills and to take responsibility for being a role model for other students.
I am currently studying BA (Hons) Marketing Communications at Middlesex University. In my spare time I enjoy reading and am a keen reader of mystery and romance novels. I enjoy playing badminton, basketball and I swim regularly. I am also interested in international cinema and music, especially Bollywood and other entertainment from this region.
I would like to pursue a career in the marketing field within advertsing. I am someone who is very creative and imaginative when it comes to creating new ideas and building adverts which I was able to prove during my media coursework during A-levels when I was set the task to create adverts for a charity campaign. I feel I learnt alot in terms of how to analyse existing adverts and produce my own using them as examples, which is why I would like to become part of an advertising team so I can put what I already know to use, as well as learn more in regards to it.
However as having studied HR within my A-levels Business studies, I was interested to this particular topic as well which is another idea of a career path I may wish to pursue. I find learning about what employers and its employees want and how to manage them is an interesting topic, as well as for example what effects there are which motivate or de-motivate workers within a workplace and other theorists ideas.
